Default improving throttle repsonse?

Alright I know this has been asked a few time and I have spent 30mins searching for an answer and nothing to conclusive came up other than the fact that performance spark plugs may help a bit.
When I hit the gas from stop or a roll the car has a 1-2 second delay, which I would like to minimize. So I am looking for mods(other than upgrading or porting the TB), tips and suggestions on ways to improve repose the repose out of the engine and transmissionauto) response. Thank you.

Is your car stock or modified?

If its modified, what mods do you have?

Is this a 2003 Sedan you are referring to?

Well it is a stock(engine wise) 2003 G35 sedan. I read grounding kits may help along with higher power spark plugs is this true?

You may want to have a look at a Sprint Booster http://www.sprint-booster.co.uk (Am sure there is a US dealer) I have one fitted to my 04 Zed and there is a difference. Mine is 6MT so am sure there would be a improvment for a 5AT. I do have a grounding kit fitted too but the sprint booster has helped.

Weird, was live earlier!! Here is another one http://www.sprintboostersales.com/nissan.cfm and there is info on the site. If you search for Sprint Booster you will see a fair bit of information around and results from other forums...

I think the UK and US versions will all fit fine on the 6MT not sure about the 5AT. The SB clips in to the top of the drive by wire socket at the top of the accelerator pedal (throttle!) so you are basicaly intercepting the signal. In essance it make the car do what you tell it too, not what the ECU thinks it wants you to do! Throttle responce is increased at 3rd and 4th gears.

I dont sell this stuff, just used it and find there is a difference. Am trying to think of ways that I can test this with in in and out (as it is plug and play) and provide some results....

Is it worth it? Let say I go for a set of high end plug running me $10 each(from let say mynismo.com) and then get this $400. I know their site says the basic model works better with autos or something along those lines. btw anyone know how it works and how legit this really is?
Any other suggestions? Anything else like this maybe?

I would be curious about this. Hopefully some people of some thoughts on this. Or what aftermarket ecu can fix this. I have a UTEC, but not installed yet.

Think about what the sprint booster does for a moment. I wouldn't suggest it. It has "too laxy to press your foot all the way down" written all of it imo.

Get a reflash that opens up the TB 100% and look into getting a shorter final gear and valve body upgrade if u r auto, or lightweight flywheel if u r manual.

Who says the stock ECU doesn't open the throttle up 100%?

And yes I've heard the rumors....

valve body is a little price at nearly 1k at some places so I am looking for a lower cost solution.

you may want to ask the reflashers (uprev, TS, cobb). uprev has implemented the "enhanced throttle control" which iirc allows the throttle to open up 100% immediately. i believe the stock ecu only allows the throttle to open up gradually. cobb is also planning to implement this in their future maps. they may have more info on this since i assume they've looked at the throttle tables
