VLSD swap
It will fit, but doing it via a parts swap doesn't make economic sense by the time you add in all your costs. You have to buy VLSD stub axles and consider the labor cost's to install it all. Then in the end, you still have a oem limited slip system that isn't very good. Getting a fully assembled pumpkin that already has the VLSD installed makes the most sense cost wise, but since you have a 07 IIRC you have a different final drive ratio vs previous years, finding a 07 diff might be kinda difficult. IMO, spend more and get something like a Cusco RS LSD.
well said ^; I did the same thing, just got the whole pumpkin and bolted it up. I wouldnt recommend buying the internal vlsd and putting it in, if your gonna go that route, do what Gsedan said and get an aftermarket clutch type.
If you can do all the work yourself then go for it but once you pay the 200 plus shipping for the vlsd 150 each axle stub plus shipping. labor if you have to take it somewhere. you would of come out cheaper just buying the whole pumpkin. even if you do the work yourself it will still come out cheaper to buy the used pumpkin with the vlsd.

You need to replace the stub shafts because they are different lenghts on the VLSD.
The base stubs are the same size.
I have these for sale and you can see in the pic the stub shafts for the VLSD are not the same size.
