Default Ground Points

Has anyone actually tested different ground points? I heard some people tried to keep stock Nissan ground points. Others tried Nismo recommended ground points.

Does anyone know what will work best? Currently I am thinking I should definitely mount my circle earth "node" on the negative battery terminal.

What do you guys think?

PS. - did several searches

Wow this is an old post but I just got a Circle Earth kit and am planning on mounting the node on the negative terminal, but don't know where to put grounding points. Any suggestions?

Basically, you can try different grounding points, it's not essential to have them be the same points on every kit.
The major points are at least one ground on the fender wall off of the main negative battery terminal, you can use the same one that is already in use in the battery compartment.
Next, you need another ground point on the frame, usually by the front of the engine bay, by the reservoirs. Then you will want to daisy chain to the plenum, the front engine cover, then one on the back or the opposite side of the plenum, then sometimes one on a good ground point on the opposite end of the engine bay, driver's side freme or fender wall.
you can mix and match them, there is no exact way to do it.

ya just set them up by length. if you have a multitester you can check resistance on each wire to make sure you have good continuity. i did mine, and i had to undo and sand or scrape the surface to make it effective.

Yes, that's true, if you are using any grounding pionts that is on a painted surface, you should sand the paint down, so that the grounding terminals touch bare metal. That's the best way for a good ground.
