How hard is it to actually blow a stock VQ motor?

It also doesn't help when Altered Atmosphere raises your rev limiter to 7300RPM without asking or telling you and you snap a connecting rod when you hit the rev limiter at 7300RPM. That cost me my first motor. RIP!

If I remember correctly on the non-rev up motor, the connecting rod is very weak right?

This happens to me sometime when I autox. I bounce of the redl limiter 6.5k just for a bit. I wonder about any long term damage too.

how do you miss 4th and hit 2nd....Ive done it once or twice in formula dodge cars but in a street car?...

do u have an aftermarket shift ****? i use the nismo titanium **** and hate it... would prefer the GT **** or anything that is more of a ball for percision shifts

When you shift from 3rd to 2nd, there is no such thing of a rev limiter. You can easily blow up your engine...
