The clamping grip is night and day. I recently went to the track and I was launching on my slicks at around 5000-5500 rpms. I made 20+ plus launches/passes down the track and my JWT took it like a champ.

I was also able to pull off two 1.9X 60s in my fart **** N/A roadster.

I don't understand why our cars are so loud. I drove a couple 911 Porsches, one 07 Lambo Gallardo V10, couple 08 Z06's and they're quiet as sin (drivetrain wise).

I have the JWT flywheel/cluth combo, and its loud as hell. I was expecting some noise but this thing is just annoying. I love the increase in throttle response and acceleration, but Im debating on whether Im really willing to put up with it as I drive a roadster.

ladyzed, I know what you mean, I've had a couple cars with lightened flywheels in the past and none of them have ever been as loud as this.

I trust the shop that did the work for me, but it almost sounds like something is broken. Yes, its really that bad.

it's normal with the JWT flywheel. I thought something was wrong with mine when I first got it also. I always felt like ppl were staring at me at lights wondering WTF was wrong with my car. My idle is bumped up now so you can't notice it anymore.

I also just had a JWT flywheel and clutch kit installed! I dont notice any noise at all but my exhaust might drown it out a bit! I agree that if you dont want noise go back to stock! I had Altered Atmospere do my upgrade and Frank thier shop supervisor did all the work on my baby! He knows his stuff when it comes to these cars! I dont agree that all these kits will cause noise issues because I dont notice any at all! Maybe it just wasnt installed properly.

ACT.

Note that the Nismo is also still pretty heavy (22+ lbs) and the ACT is rougly 14 lbs.

Man I just installed mine today(ACT6 puck sprung with a stillen LW flywheel) and holy s*** talk about a kick *** when you let that cluck out. But I would have to add with the windows down It dose sound like someone is beating a midget with a bag of rocks, minus the screams. Dose anyone have any sound bites on this noise?

yeah, anyone got a sound clip? I only know about the whirring sound when letting go of the clutch in neutral when i'm in my garage. Wonder how a lighter flywheel sounds.

hey just wondering if everything is ok with mine, if i sit in neutral with clutch out it chatters but clutch in it goes away, im assuming this is right, and then at low rpm's in gears gets a little chatter, and then downshifting a little whine while the revs come down while in gear
