Default Tomorrow my car will be like every home should be... CATLESS!!

Sorry, I friggin hate cats. Dog's rule.

I got my straight pipes yesterday from Robby (the place webcarconnection got his). They look great. The initial pictures posted here showed seams on both sides where the flanges are. No more. They redesigned them and are bent the whole way so there are no seams. A beautiful piece of work. I inspected the insides of the pipes and they are very clean. Even the welds for the O2 sensor bungs are very clean.

$220 for stainless steel mandrel bent straight pipes, worth every penny! I'm doing the install tomorrow so I'll post my performance impressions. I'm expecting some grinning.

Excellent!
When I did mine, I had no resonator... MAN THAT THING WAS LOUD!!!, but I installed a Magnaflow resonator, and now makes a really nice sound, louder than stock, of course but nice.
About performance, I recommend that you make several WOT runs for the ECU to adapt; my car became progressively faster as time passed.
Increase in HP? I honestly don't know, but I can tell you this, last night I raced a G35 with the following: Borla catback, UR pulley's, Injen CAI and Borla headers, and I managed to pull 1 1/2 car lengths to him until 150mph+... my mods? Injen CAI, Grounding Kit and cat pipes...

You recommend a few WOT runs huh.... I don't think that will be a problem! haha. I am also resonator-less. So I'm ready to appreciate the sound. I'm also curious to see what kind of differences i'll notice when I'm on the bottle. As it is the exhaust charateristic changes dramatically when i throw the switch. Can't wait to hear it afterwards.

How long did it take for you to get these? I have been waiting for a long time (placed order beginning of the month).

Payment sent the 3rd of July, paid for 2nd day shipping. Received yesterday. They were delayed slightly because I ordered while they were transitioning from the original seamed pipes to the bent pipes.

I usually pay extra for express shipping. I find i always have problems with ground and trying to get help for a ground package from the shipper is damn near impossible. Pay and extra $10 and it's like your s shipping celebrity if you call for help.

Same here, I placed my order when web placed up his post concerning the cat pipes install (beginning of month as well). I then emailed about it because it was over a week without any updates and I got an email back stating that they went to the new mandrel bent design which should of shipped out by tuesday/thursday. It's sucks that I'm excited to get the pipes so it seems like it's taking forever! I just ordered my Crawford Z plenum and it's gonna be in the mail today. I just hope they come sooooooonnnnn . Zaphod, if you can, you should try and see how much more you notice the power level increase and definately let us know! Can't wait to hear your results, have fun w/ them pipes man!

L8te!

I just received mine today. The design is flawless!!! They are much lighter and cleaner than the cats, its a relatively tight install when the Z's on jack stands but everything went smooth. It look about 2 hours or so. The catpipes didn't come with any bolts, nuts, washers or gaskets so I had to run to the hardware store and get some galvanized bolts(I hope thats the right kind). I think I might have a leak, not for sure but it has a pssss sound at higher RPM's. I'm gonna go jack it up again in a minute to see if I can tell and tighten everything.

Throttle response is now incredible with all the mods I've done so far. I ran a few runs at the track tonight and was disappointed but its very very humid(90% or so) and 87 degree's and I ran 14.2 at 100 on the HEAVY I-Forged wheels. My previous 30 runs in much cooler, less humid weather, I had NEVER broke 100 so the trap is a great thing for me, especially with a 2.3 60' with horrible traction and I always use to run 14.3-4 at 97 or so. Keep in mind, my previous 30 runs didn't have the UR pullies, the Nismo flywheel or the catpipes, and the JIC downpipe. With the Rays or my Enkei's, I'd have done 13.9 or so. With cooler, less humid weather and Enkei's, I'd bet for 13.6 or 7 but only time will tell.

I'll post more results later after the HPCCC tomorrow.

LSDUNIQUE is the user name of the guy you need to contact for ordering. Look a few posts up, he just released pics of his new plenum.

Still no CEL after 300 miles. The stock exhaust sounds too raspy for my tastes now. My Injen SES should be here tomorrow!!! I'll post results then.
