Default Has anyone had mods done to there 06 with the oil consumption problem???

Im going to take it to a local nissan dealer, but Im afraid they are going to say some crap like the intake is causing the problem, or the high flow cats. Should I put the stock cats on to be safe???

100% stock for no excuses, I tried w/ my 06 but the twin turbo kit didn't do me any justice at the stealership lol.

I wouldn't worry about the cats. They are going to just order up a consumption test. Don't say anything about the cats being aftermarket.

i have an 06 and have pretty much every breather mod and also geared. i have plans on just building it in the future to cancel out the oil consumption. instead of dealing with the stealership. and correct me if im wrong, i believe i saw a post in the oil consumption thread that some people that got the v2 motors in are still having oil consumptions.

I just recently had my oil changed done and this time I will try not to downshift hard, I use the brake more often now and see if I will still experience OC.
