Default Oil pan leaking

My oil pan is leaking oil throught the spacer and the pan itself (Turbo return line is in the spacer) I have not been able to seal it properly and have tried a couple times. Anyone have tips to help me out. Not sure if the problem is worse because I'm FI but it's pretty annoying and messy.

Take it apart.
Clean the old rtv off.
Inspect for any cracks, warp, or irregularities.
Re-apply a fresh bead of rtv.
Torque everything back down to spec.
Make sure you tighten the pan bolts in a 'star' pattern.

The factory uses rtv on the pan. So that'll still need to be cleaned off and insprected.

Yeah, rtv has to be applied a certain way in a certain amount. Otherwise it can get messy. If you're not mechanically inclined or rtv challenged, then it's pretty hard to mess up a gasket. Lol~

I used RTV and it's holding strong.

Well we shall see, I waited almost 24 hours before putting oil in. My pan and spacer were scratched so I don't have a completely flat surface. Not surprising considering the pans been off 4 times from a few different people. Hope the RTV fills in the gaps.
