Question Koyo R core install

Got my Koyo today. I thought I read somewhere that there had to be some kind of modification to the fan shroud. It didn't come w/ any directions, can somebody help me out?

HAHA yeah you might want to get a die grinder and a seel grinding bit and pretty much just go to town on alot of the supports and corners.

I have an R Core Koyo. Dropped right in. No shaving of the fan shroud neccessary, but I did have to trim about an inch off the upper and lower coolent hoses.

Edit: I'm NA.

no the one that comes with the koyo is good just be sure you put some teflon tape on it. Im not sure how it will fit on a greddy kit but on a aps kit we actually had to relocate the plugs for the motors to a different place good luck pm if you have any questions remember pictures are always good when looking for help .

Is there a bolt or something I can take out to drain the block?

I can't even get this thing to sit close enough to get the two top clips in place. Is this where I'm suppose to be cutting? I though It was on the fans themselves.

HAHAHA no the schroud may have to be cut but you have to go on the back side of the radiator support and cut out some of the x supports at the top to start with and just start cutting and shaving from there.

O dont worry about draining the block just dump the coolant in the radiator and put a drip pan under it.
