4.083/3.917= 1.0347 or 3.45% torque multiplication

Acceleration is roughly the cube root of ratio so [ n**1/3 ] 3.45% or ~~ 1.5% better acceleration or at best 0.2 seconds in quarter difference.

Because of the slippage you get from the torque converter and shorter top gear, I wouldn't recommend going shorter than 3.917 for the FD on the 5AT.

RPM's with the 3.917 on the 5AT in 5th tend to be similar to the 4.083 on the 6MT in 6th.

If I were to do it again, I'd probably opt 3.692 for the best balance of acceleration and top gear engine speeds.

Take it to a transmission shop. They're the most experienced at this type of work.
Did you use the Kent Moore Tools for Pinion Depth??

...definitely purchase from Adam (Z1 Performance)!

Fortunately, I didn't have to adjust the pinion. I just transfered the ring gear and bearings to the new LSD. Then, I adjusted the tension and backlash with shims.
