Default Connecting Rod

Hey guys, I broke a connecting rod the other night so I have a few questions. Can I run the Cosworth rods on stock pistons or would it make more sense to go ahead and upgrade them too? Also, does anyone know have a ballpark on what labor would be on installing rods and cams? Thanks for the help

That sucks

You could replace just the rods, though it's a messy, messy job and not all that easy to do with the engine in the car. If your budget and time allow, your best bet is to build the bottom end with pistons and rods

Cams is a whole other ballgame. At the point where you're at, I'd pull the motor and just built it top to bottom and be done with it (again if time/budget allow). Otherwise, you might want to look for a used motor to use for now, and build your original one outside of the car in the meantime...less downtime, and you can then go at your own pace
