Default Question about flywheel

I'm in need of a clutch here really soon. I have done some research and countless searches. I'm planning on getting the ACT sprung 6 puck combo with either the street lite or pro lite flywheel. My car is no longer a daily and about 75% of the time I'm driving it for pleasure or back road flogging. I want something that will be agressive and hold up to my driving style. I have also driven several cars with light flywheels, but not a z. So I know how different they feel compared to stock.

I was wanting some opinions from people who have actualy had experience with these products. I know the pros and cons. I just want opinions from people who know what they are talking about. Thanks a lot.

I have the Prolite flywheel with the ACT PP but clutchnet 3 puck sprung disc... should be about the same. I love it although it does kinda suck in stop and go traffic. I say that because I recently evac'd to Houston because of the hurricane and we got stuck in some BAD traffic. Took 5 hours to get to Houston instead of 2 hours and it was a PITA. If it's not your DD, I wouldn't worry. It's about to not be my daily driver so I'll be fine. It's definitely one of my favorite mods I've done.

I have a video there but it looks like they're doing maintenance. I also have a vid of a stock Z revving. Sorry for the crap launch, it was on a horrible road.

I can tolerate a lot if it has a purpose.

Mine chatters a good bit but I'm like you... I can tolerate it because it has far more positives than negatives.

redmike_02 are you F/I??

If you're not, I don't see a reason to have a 6 puck clutch.

I don't a ACT Clutch or a Pro lite /Street lite flywheel, but I do have the Clutchmaster's Stage 3 clutch (FX300) and the Fidanza liteweight flywheel (13 Lbs).

And of course my flywheel chatters, but it only brothers me when I'm in a Drive-Thur. But IMO the flywheel/clutch upgrade was one of the best mods I done to date, still after 3 years later.

How much quicker do the revs feel? Do you honestly think the Pro lite is worth it or should I get the Street lite? Or do they both have about the same driveability issues?

My guess is they're about the same. I think its a 3lb difference

It revs a lot faster IMO. My car is damn near stock now and I think it feels a big stronger than when it was completely stock.

I found the vid from searching. Like I said, excuse the launch on the crappy road and early shifting. Hard as fawk trying to hold the camera

I have a stock clutch (AKA on/off switch) and a JWT lightweight flywheel (from 27 to 13 pounds) and I definitely noticed a difference. Accel and Decel definitely feel much quicker and overall there is a definite improvement in overall drivability. It was a good addition to my mods (listed below).
