Default Heat issues?

Ok so I posted in another thread about having an engine overheat recently. After replacing the thermostat and flushing the coolant I decided to just remove the Thermostat from the housing all together. No more overheating yay!!!!!!

However I'm not getting any heat now. when I run the car or at idle my heat isn't working inside. My cars temp never goes up and its jsut a 1/4 under half .

Any advice here?

What did you expect man? The tstat can be a pain in the *** but its there for a reason.

You're circulating coolant thru the radiator now even when you shouldn't be (ie, tstat would be closed), so your coolant temp at idle isn't getting hot enough to provide heat.

Your initial problem that was fixed by removing the tstat probably could have been fixed by either 1. replacing it, 2. bleeding the coolant thoroughly, or 3. both.

The only other reason you wouldn't be getting heat is if you've still got air in the system and coolant isn't getting to the heater core. But if the temp sensor is reading low, I doubt thats your issue.

Spoils your the man lol. You respond to several of my post actually lol. Just an update. Somehow someway the Heater works just fine and dandy today. Maybe needed to run the car abit for it to work? ran it for 10 miles or so yesterday and nothing. today started it up and ran fine. but thanks again spoils on the other thread and for responding. kudos.

Could have been some air that worked its way out and into the overflow bottle. Or yeah, maybe you just didn't warm the car up enough. lol

You have air in the system, bleed it again, and again, and again
