I'm having my whole tranny replaced for 3rd gear grind. I was wondering if I were to purchase the Nismo clutch will the dealer install it since they are replacing the tranny? How is the Nismo clutch and where is the best price to find one? Thanks!

 

They will install anything you ask them to, it is your car, just beware of warranty implications, which with the clutch you really don't have any since the clutch is usually never warrantied as it is almost always wear and tear.

I had them install a Nismo Flywheel when my tranny got replaced, I looked into the clutch and decided against it since the stock clutch is a good one and I think can handle over 400HP and I didn't want to deal with added effort associated with aftermarket performance clutches.
