Default Confusing Redline options for differential

See attached pictures. So which should I use for my rear differential? Mine is 2004 5AT, driving is summer conditions all year long (Malaysia), weekend cruising mostly.

Changed the ATF today. Flushed it out twice with the cheaper ATF (TOTAL) first, and then refilled with original Nissan J-Matic. The old ATF was really dark and dirty looking, but frankly, I didn't see much of a difference before and after the change.....oh well, at least I feel better that its done.

BUT I DIDN't change the differential fluid because I wasn't sure which Redline option to use :-(

I've read many references to MT-90 in the threads here, but then again doesn't MT-90 stand for "Manual Transmission".....or doesn't it matter for rear differential fluids?

The workshop here only carries 75W90, but they're able to get other types if needed. Should I just go with the 75W90?

I reiterate; 5AT, > 85deg.F all year, mostly weekend cruising (with the occasional spirited drive when I get bad crack).

Adding the requirements as stated in the 2003 Service Manual
Transmission API GL-4,Viscosity SAE 75W-85
Differential API GL-5, Viscosity SAE 80W-90

Manual Transmission Fluid Change

Redline MTL ( GL4 ) 70W-80 - 2 quarts [ Combined with
Redline MT90 ( GL 4 ) 75W-90 - 2 quarts <-----------this ]
*2 Replacement Crush Washers ( part # 110264n200 )

Rear Differential Fluid Change

Redline MT90 ( GL 5 ) 75W-90 - 2 quarts

SO, 1st pic is the way to go. DO NOT use GL-5 fluid in your transmission (will rust).

Wait; first pic meaning 75W90 and NOT MT-90, correct?

Going back to the tranny; the manual says about 10quarts needed for the ATF, but how come the workshop only used roughly 4 quarts to replace the ATF?

They just did a drain and fill. Most of it stays locked up in the torque converter. The dealership has a special pump that will do a true 10 qt fluid exchange. The current service recommendation is a drain/fill yearly or a complete exchange every 2 years.

So I used the 75W90 for the differential fluid change today. Exactly 2 quarts for a full fill.
There is definitely an improvement in the ride quality. It seems smoother now and car travels a longer distance when pedal is released.......like sliding on butter......or using KY-Jelly (if I can use that analogy).

But then again today I also added a Pivot Mega voltage stabilizer and re-filled the tranny with fresh J-Matic........so the improvement could be the sum of all three things.

But I can confirm that the old fluid in the differential was dark grey, and there was lots of stuff stuck on the drain bolt. The mechanic told me that the bolt is highly magnetized, and the stuff stuck to it is actually metal shavings ! Scary.
