Default 5AT Thump & Jolt: Normal?

I notice a rear thump and jolt when shifting from R through to D. Is this normal? Didn't realize this thump-jolt before today. Not sure if it was there earlier. Changed my rear diff. fluid and ATF yesterday, so maybe I'm extra sensitive.

P to R is smooth. Shifting from N to D also produces a thump and jolt, but not as significant.

I'll pledge to not play with myself for one day if some gives intelligent feedback.

No sorry.... 12 hours, I promise.

I guess a hard thump or soft thump is relative (I continually remind my girlfriend about this). I truly feel my thump is harder than normal. I think I'll send it to the mechanic for final verification that everything is in order.

a/t user here.
I get that same problem when downshifting from 3rd to 2nd. . . 1 out of 3 the thumping and jolting occurs. But when i support the downshift with a lil bit of gas, it doesnt happen at all.
