RPS Flywheel and RPS Sport Clutch with Street Disc
I can't think of a better setup for my needs. I want a setup that will show a decent gain in performance but I don't want the "cement mixer" sound that some have reported with the JWT setup. The RPS setup is a bit heavier then the JWT so I don't think it will be as noisy. I'm about to order them unless anyone has some negative reviews about them... Thanks
every lightweight flywheel makes noise...every single one. The only way to see if its ok with you, or too loud for you, is for you to go to a meet, etc and hear someone's car. Some say it's too loud, others say it's not a big deal. It's subjective
RPS does not appear to make a clutch or flywheel for the 07 + cars (they are different than -3-06 cars) unless its just not listed on their website

Hey, thanks for the heads up with the difference in production years. I was looking at MVP motorsports and it doesn't specify different years so I had no clue. Maybe I'll call them monday and ask about that.
Also I know what your saying about every lightweight flywheel makes noise. Even the stock flywheel can be heard at times. What I was getting at is the RPS flywheel is a few pounds heavier then most lightweight flywheels. With that said I would assume it would sound closer to the stock flywheel then other lightweight ones... As always I could be wrong.
it's possible, but even a nismo one, which is the heaviest aftermarket I know of, is still noisy - due to the fact that stock is a dual mass unit. Most aftermarket units have a similar sound to them - I don't think the weight is a reason itself, just the design overall

They defenetly make some noise as stated above it is a good setup. I have had a JWT and RPS in my car the RPS was slightly stiffer then the JWT but both are good clutches.
