the best technique is to fill the oil cooler and lines with oil prior to installation and measure the aded volume......that way you know, for sure, how much capacity you have added!

that won't work if the oil cooler is higher than the pan.........as the oil all drains back into the pan.......and throws off your dipstick readings.

I wanna say my ARC cooler added an extra space for 1/2 quart. I'm not really sure to be honest. I haven't changed my oil in over a year now.
