Okay I searched but no luck, anyways Im new to Z's but I was curious if anyone had this problem.

I've noticed a hissing noise coming from up underneath and well its not my exhaust. Wondering if it could be the fuel pump. Anyone experienced anything in this nature? Also it does it when it starts but while it sits and idles, it comes on and off, etc.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

 

also is this something that should have attention right away, the car runs perfect and fine, no rough idling, no bad fuel milelage, etc.

 

the hissing can come from the test pipes.... are you sure it is not rasp? I have the same hissing sound everytime I slow down or at idle. I have no resonators either so it is louder...

 

i have the same exact thing, mine are resonated those, i think its just the test pipe rattling due to pressure loss or whatever. i think we just have to deal with it
