MY PROBLEMS AREN"T WITH THE ECU
(a breif recap for those who missed it the first time: I got a TS ecu and saw no gains, and my af ratio was very lean from my dynos, TS sent me another ecu, with confirmed programming AND programmed it with additional fuel due to my abnormally lean condition) TS has been great with excellent customer support through everything.
FIRST: let me say IT ISN"T THE FAULT OF THE ECU
While the new ecu makes my car feel stronger, the dyno says it isn't
It turns out the dyno shop hadn't been using the wideband sensor at all, so my lean fuel readings were just bogus data which sent us down the wrong path
It also turns out that my first ecu upgrade from Technosquare was programmed correctly, and not misprogrammed as originally thought.
I got an O2 bung installed yesterday, just forward of the drivers side cat so I could get accurate readings and redyno'd with the special updated program. Now my a/f ratio is rich, running from as lean as 13:1 to as rich as 11.5:1 in the upper bands where they added more fuel. EVEN WITH THE ADDITIONAL FUEL, MY HP SEEMS TO BE CAPPED AT 238. No matter what I have tried since I installed the 'corner muffler shop' made y pipe, I can't get past 238 hp. My Y pipe is a prebent piece, shaped like a U, such that each bank of cylinders airflow meet head to head, then while opposing each other, have to make a 90 degree turn to exit to the midpipe.
Technosquare is sending me back my original ECU with the standard TS programming, and I am either switching to stock exhaust or getting a Borla or Stillen, and am confident I will finally see the gains. Dyno time is getting expensive, so I dont know if I am going to dyno with stock exhaust or not yet.
ALSO, I lent TS the ecu out of our G35c Automatic, to download the factory codes to reprogram, and in return they gave me an upgrade for it. It is night and day between stock and the ECU on that car. (G35c is stock aside from Z intake tube). The car hits about 3200 rpm and just rockets from there. Having their programming in 2 cars and seeing the difference really shows me its not the ecu, but something else with my car.

Ok, I switched back to a complete stock exhaust system.
Last nite at the dragstrip, I tested my g-tech, as I wasn't sure how accurate it was. My 1/4 times were always within .02 of the actual time, so its fairly close.
I used the G-tech to do before and after 0-60 runs (no place flat, straight and safe enough for 1/4 mile runs around me) with the exhaust. With my custom exhaust, my 4 runs ranged between 5.89 and 6.15 seconds. (6.02 average)
I put the stock cat-back system on and did 4 more runs, ranging from 5.64-5.78 (5.71 average, for average gain of .31 seconds!)
I'm fairly confident I will see the dyno numbers improve now.

the picture of my old y-pipe, as you can see, it reached a bottleneck at the Y/ Thats what I get for being an early adapter and not waiting for a proper system to come out.

Yeah, that thing is ugly! No offense, glad you are happy now. I still have not bitten on the ECU yet. I'm next going for 2.25 cat pipes and then maybe this ECU. I noticed a great difference when I went to the Borla Dual.

woohoo! now people can stop bashing the TS ecu based on some inaccurate readings. i knew it all along. i even said it in the first thread. I said it was the y-pipe and guess what!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait to see the dyno.
That being said, last week I ran a best of 14.66, and this week a 14.49 after replacing the custom exhaust with stock. At this point I have the injen CAI and technos ecu, which is the 2nd one that was programmed much richer than I need, due to bad dyno data.
I want to analyze my time slips and look at the times from 60' t the 1/4mile, so I can take out the variables in each launch.
I did chirp the tires in 3rd gear now as opposed to last week with the old exhuast.
