I can just imagine how this thing performs. 20B's are the v8's of the rotaries..

A 20B in a RX7 ( 2 Gen or 3 Gen ) is fast because they are very light cars. But putting the 20B in a heavier car like the Z will really put that motor to the test. My RX7 is a 3rd Gen with 500+ hp..and that think is fast as hell because the car with motor weights less than 2600 lbs

I thought the appeal of the 20b was it's strong na power? By turboing it, didn't it just get regulated down to the usual turbo FD blow up status?

Nice man.. I'd love to get a 3rd gen.. I actually wanted a 3rd gen before i got my Z but financing one wasn't an option

The aussie's run some sick setups with 20B's

It originally may have been but i think all rotaries except NA 13B's just loveboost. Maybe others can chime in as i'm no where near the rotary expert. Just a fan

Why in the hell would someone put that shitty motor in our car? I have two RX-7's and the beauty of that motor isn't it's power, but it's ability to allow a chassis to have a balance no other car can have. That motor is a downgrade. This is stupid ricer crap.

I was thinking the same thing,WHY the hell did he do that??????Apex's everything 20,000 miles or less.PLUS adding a quart of oil every month to keep it running.I'd probably do it for a track car.

Or Suzuki Sidekicks. Here's mine: (2200 lbs)

The Rotary is a GREAT Engine, but has no business in the Z... IMO

The Twin Turbo Form the 20B has HP and Torque specs that are nearly the same as the stock V6

Definately thinking the same thing! It's unique and whatever else, but why
the hell would someone ever do it and spend the time, effort, money ect.
The RX-7 was built around the that motor and the car as a whole was unique,
but taking that motor and throwing it into a car that wasn't engineered for
that motor is flat out stupid.
