Just noticed this stuff on the shelf, seemed to be new to me.

Is anyone running the Redline Lightweight Shockproof Gear oil in the diff or in a manual trans???

those aren't new!! they had those for time!!
those are not for our gear-oil
I was searching for trans and gear oil for our car base on my research if you go redlike here is the formulation

Transmission: 50/50 with MTL (70W80)/MT-90 (75W90) to creat 75w85, which is recommended by nissan!
LSD: 75W90
Even though 75w90 and MT-90 is same weight, the 75w90 contains additives for lsd, so anybody who are going with Redline, this is what you will be needing!!! MTL & MT-90 for transmission and plain 75W90 for LSD.
I was thinking of Motul but i have used redlines trans oil before and i was really satisfied.
Just make sure you use GL-4
if you use GL-5 your trans will corroid and break!!!
Good luck
