I used to have 2jz-gte with Greddy T88-38GK cam 272/272 PowerEnterprice1000cc with JE piston stock size with Fcon Vpro make 1005Hp on power lap.
I trust in 2JZ the most.
strong last long and more aftermarket part to play with horse power.
If you go stock Trany 2JZ offer really good and tough trany.
for RB26 i think you need rb25 tranny to make it RWD (i'm not sure but I think)

vq has some of the best flowing heads of any production car. itd be a waste to ditch such a fine motor for an inferior one. \
the only advantage the 2jz/rb has it that its been around for a while and they've figured out what works and what doesnt. our variant of the vq is relatively new and has come a long way in the 5+ years its been around
