Ok.I dont want to take sides but here is the deal on this transmission.It was purchased by a gentlemen named Gene in August of 2006.He did indeed get the transmission built by us.This included new clutch packs,band,main carrier bearing,upgraded his existing valvebody(dont know what it was) and provided a new Dalenzi torque convertor.He provided the core and we built it.We never heard back from Gene about any problems or issues with this transmission so as far as we know it worked well. Fast forward to a week ago.......Ernie did notify us that it would not go into park when he installed it and later reported back to me that a plunger was not installed correctly which tells me that the pan was pulled off the tranny for whatever reason.Somebody went into it for reasons unknown.I dont know who did this or why they did it but it is obvious that something was done at some point in the last 2 years, 4 months. Thats is the info we have.

 

I'm glad this was indeed a misunderstanding and you guys worked everything out.
