Transmission Issue
So my buddy from Alaska got in a few nights ago and he didn't have a car to drive. I decided to let him borrow mine while I was in class. He's very responsible and knows how to take cars is why I trusted him. Well as it turns out when he was driving and goes to change gears it wouldn't go into gear anymore, the clutch pedal got extremely light and it wouldn't change gears or anything. You could hear something whining extremely loud, sounds almost like a loose chain. The car won't move at all right now as it is.
My only transmission mod is a ACT clutch, I installed this about 5000 miles ago so I dont think that went out because you couldn't smell the clutch at all. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? The z is a 2006 enthusiasts with 23000 miles.
Excuse me for my bad grammar and spelling I've had a long day..

I would check the master cylinder for the clutch...its unlikely but when that happened to mine it wouldn't change gear...mine didnt have sound though.. just a suggestion
a way of checking though is to pump the clutch 3 to 5 times then try shifting gears
