Default Quaife oil?

What differential fluid is everyone running in their Quaife? The unit just got here but there's no instructions or recommendations. However, they have these recommendations on their site.

When running a QUAIFE ATB Differential in a standard transaxle gearbox, we recommend that you use whatever your vehicle's manufacturer recommends. The QUAIFE ATB Differential does not require any special lubricants. © copyright FUCHS PETROLUB AG

When running QUAIFE gearbox internals and a QUAIFE ATB differential – we recommend Silkolene SYN5 75W90.

For a QUAIFE ATB differential, running in a rear axle – use a hypoid 90 or 75W90, as above.

For those applications that will accept a GL5 or SAE75W90 gear oil, we recommend and sell Silkolene SYN5 75W90 gear oil. We use Silkolene in all our own QUAIFE racing transmissions.
Based on this I should be running a 75W90 oil instead of the 80W90 oil recommended by Nissan correct?

Thanks

75w90 is correct based on what I've seen.

The Silkonene is what I use, per their recommendation. No issues so far.

if you can tell a difference between 75/90 and 80/90, you're a god

Many guys also run the Motul, and a host of other fluids will work as well

For Quiafe, or OEM, we always run Motul Gear 300 75-90 weight. 2 bottles per oil change.

No worries.
