Plenum Spacer, TD exhaust, Pop charge
My z is completly stock now and I'm thinking before bringing it out to purchase these items as mentioned above. What kind of gains, engine noise, exhaust note (borla/greddy) should I expect ? Is it worth doing these mods or would the money be spent better elsewhere ? My z is just a daily driver, don't track but have done 1/4 mile a couple times. Any help would be great.

 

All the mods you list are good, engine noise is minimal. I personally like a true duel setup but that is up to you. When I first installed my Stillen TD I thought it was to quiet.

 

I have a Z1 plenum spacer and JWT popcharger. I love the low growling sound from inside of the car. Now I am looking for a true dual setup and maybe test pipes to really make my 04 sound as good as it looks.. Mine is na by the way.

 

Gearing is always good too... 3.9 or 4.08.

 

I second the gearing comment by gothchick. 4.08 FD is a fantastic and very noticable upgrade.

 

Check out my sig. I have those mods plus more. I love the engine note. To me completely diff than stock and oh so much better. My nest upgrades are going to be lsd and fd gears. Those are supposed to be big differences as well and good mods to get.
