Forged Performance ECU Flash: In case you were wondering if tuning is required...

We've been using UpRev's software to reflash factory ECU's for a while now, and I want to share this one tune with you.
Of course, we all know that tuning is recommended after performing aftermarket breathing mods, and the importantance of getting a tune increases as you add more and more to your car.
For instance, nobody really needs to rush out for a tune, if simply bolting on a cat back exhaust. But in this case, one of our customer's came in, after installing exhaust, test pipes, headers, intake, and spacer. He knew his car didn't feel any faster, and possibly even slower after doing these mods. Jose watched as we added about 26whp to his car. He is happy now, and he is car is running the way it should
So we put it on the dyno to get some baseline numbers, and then retuned the ECU in real time. So much for the ECU learning on its own.![Wink](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)

I understand what is already posted by Sharif, I am asking does it come with five maps? 1 map, 2 Maps what? I received five maps from the shop that tuned mine they also charged less but I am just asking questions being that, there are people who might not know about Uprev. Obviously each shop charges different for dyno time. The licensing itself is 450 I believe. And obviously some shops are closer and more convenient to deal with ect ect... For anyone who is considering this product I love it. Yes technosqare may see more peak hp gains but I personally would rather have a power band that doesn't just fall flat on its face. My car runs alot smoother and is just a great all around car to drive now. So for those considering this it is definitely worth the money over technosquare. Wasn't trying to thread jack just trying to make people who do not know all the facts about it alittle more open to them. Of course I am just repeating everything I learned from Jared from Uprev

The way we offer our tuning is different from the packages that UpRev offers on their website. We do not offer mail or etunes for NA cars, or different levels of tuning.
You get one perfect NA tune, which includes the dyno time, my time, and the ECU flash. Most of the ECU's have capability to run more than one map, but I see little reason to run more maps on an NA car. With race fuel, there is no more power to be had, and I see no reason to offer detuned or lower hp maps. I want our customers to hop in their cars, and drive them hard all the time, with an optimum tune. Sweet and simple.
In comparison, if someone were to do a UTEC NA setup. It would cost about $800 for the UTEC, $400 for tuning, and about $50-$100 to install it. So $1300 vs. $890 for the reflash.
