The way we offer our tuning is different from the packages that UpRev offers on their website. We do not offer mail or etunes for NA cars, or different levels of tuning.
You get one perfect NA tune, which includes the dyno time, my time, and the ECU flash. Most of the ECU's have capability to run more than one map, but I see little reason to run more maps on an NA car. With race fuel, there is no more power to be had, and I see no reason to offer detuned or lower hp maps. I want our customers to hop in their cars, and drive them hard all the time, with an optimum tune. Sweet and simple.
In comparison, if someone were to do a UTEC NA setup. It would cost about $800 for the UTEC, $400 for tuning, and about $50-$100 to install it. So $1300 vs. $890 for the reflash.

The gains look great! On the topic of tunes, maybe a lil off topic, Is the # of points sampled for the AFR on that dyno chart limited to such low resolution? I always wondered how many points you need on your curve to adequately show the tune. I would guess that you log with a cipher, but how tightly do you chase down outlying AF #'s? I guess more to the point is whats the resolution of the osirus reflash?
Like with this chart you can see the general trend with 14 points like on the dyno chart, but might miss outliers..

This was a dyno tune via reflash, which I believe is the "standard" service offered by Forged Performance via Osiris. The value add there is the professional tuning expertise for which Sharif is highly regarded.
If all you want is to change a few parameters, like redline, speed limiter, idle, etc - you can probably do that via e-mail with UpRev.
So I suppose the answer to your question is "both"!

I contacted my local osiris carrier (intec racing in Kent) and was given a couple of options.
a: 400$ reflash, no tuning.
b: 400$ reflash, + tuning time 160$/hr (estimated 1.5 hours)
c: 700$ reflash with the ability to just pay the 160$/hr tuning cost if I make changes in the future, vs needing to pay the 400$ again if I added more mods
probably going with option B, I only have a plenum spacer, pop charger and a catback exhaust, but I'm positive I'm done modding. I hope it's worth the money for someone who isn't going full bolt-on, but I'll probably get away with doin this for about 700$ total after tax. it'll be a couple of months but I'll add my results as well

I'm probably going the same route as you with the custom tuned reflash only option.

I hope that clarifies things.

Mine would of cost 750 dyno tune re-flash, with 5 different maps 1 regular, 3 different launch control set-ups and my Valet mode. It will cost me 350 to have the car thrown back on the dyno for my maps to be played with for when I get my special ingredient. It all just depends who is closest and trusth worthy I am glad to see Sharif and those guys get Up-rev it is a great product and I am thrilled to have been fortunate to get it done.

Dyno results sorry guys the picture is crappy and I don't have a scanner at my hands right now. Baselines 281 we don't know what it was before I put my cat-back on so I could of gotten a total of 6-10 hp with cat back and tune. It peaked at 283 whp.. This is going to be Temporary :shifty eyes:
