Default NISMO ECU, where are you??

Any one have ETA on this puppy? Heard it could really make the difference and nissan engineer mentioned it could release full potential of EQ35DE. He estimated if it's properly tuned should result in 320hp.

I remember that Nismo ECU was available in Japan, but haven't heard a peep here. If this does what it's suppose to do, this is better than FI setup.

So here's the NISMO "sports resetting" package available in Japan since may. Anybody have any info when this is coming over? (in the image, the ecu is in bottom left)

oh, forgot, in the 2nd link, the person was talking to rep from NISMO who said that there will be two more aggressive versions of ECU. A S1 and R1. S1 < R1. R1 is delayed because of heating problems in drivetrain.

japanese ecu's won't work with U.S. spec, if it did you would see this forum all over japanese ecu's like Impul, Mine's, Central20, NISMO, Phoenixs Power, etc.............

I didn't mean package one up and send it over here.

NISMO has the fuel map data and now that NISMO USA is here, they could produce a ECM intended for US.

wait for the official NISMO USA launch in a couple months, although i seriously doubt an ECM will be on the list.

The official word from our supplier in Japan is that the JDM ECU's and chips are not compatable with USDM.

But whats to keep anyone from analysing what the nismo ecu does and performing the exact modifications to the US spec?

Didn't chebosto and his goonies do just that or something very similar? Technosquare. I don't think the gains have been mind boggling or anything. Noticable yes but not huge.
