Default Clutch pedal dropped to the floor...wont come back up

So today, i decided to take the car out for a ride since a few months from off shore. Anyways, i was coming to a u turn, and stop and trying to make the uturn, and at a very slow speed, clutch in and put into 1st gear. While clutch is in and in first gear, the clutch padel just sits there at the bottom floor and it wont come back up. Had to tow it home. Anyone have experienced this? Please help me out. Dealer is out of the question because i just rolled over 65xxx miles, and really dont wanna pay stearship price. Great advice would help.

Thanks for your time.

It sounds like your clutch cylinder is toast. I'm 99% sure.....

Did you check your fluid levels before you drove it? Since you haven't driven it for a few months it would have been a good idea.

Thanks for helping me, the car is an 04 with 65xxxmiles. When i pull the padel back up and step on it again, same result, padel is stuck. And from what im reading and calling a crap load of poeple own Zs. They all said Slave cylinder is out, i might have to run to Stearship for this one, its not very expensive. Any other advice or opinion would and will help til i get this fix.

Again, thanks.

This happened to me, and yeah, I could lift it back up w/ my foot, but the remedy seemed to be to replace the master cylinder/ slave cylinder according to the stealership. Thank the Lord he was able to get it covered under warranty, even though I was like almost at 37,000 miles! Haven't had a problem since.

make sure your clutch line is not blown first. very easy to check. fill with fluid, jack the car up. then have someone pump the pedal while you look underneath.

Clutch master cylinder, clutch line, or slave cylinder. You're bypassing fluid or losing fluid at one of those points.

Thank you all for your help, i checked out everything was in good shape n working order. The reason is the Withdrawal Lever Pivot broke as i read in other forums that they are made of cheap metal and they break easy...So i need to order one and put it in.

Again, thanks for your time.
