NICE!

So if anyone wants to know... YES you can run a procharger with a wet shot! Just keep it a respectable shot!

I was wondering why Max (is that his right name) blew his Z with a procharger + NOS and these guys are not? Is it the amount of the shot or the tuning that is making the difference between a SC car and a blown (as in blew up!) car.

Max never ran his car with N2O after the S/C was installed! Tuning is very difficult; you can blow it up tuning if you are not careful.

Paulo is running a 35 wet shot. The car ran richer with the wet shot (result of the extra fuel). The 417 came when he was spraying his intercooler with a secondary bottle filled with N20. That N2O was being sucked into the air filter, effectively he had a dry shot going while he was "hitting" it. It was pretty neat!

BTW, Zex Nitrous and NX CO2 sprayer.

If he blew his motor up without running Nos, that scares me more. So he was running 9 lbs of boost though right?

wait.. are you saying he's spraying INSIDE his intercooler or ONTO his intercooler?

onto would cool it even more and yea.. residual nos could end up being sucked into the filter since the filter and the IC are so close together..

wow..
thats cool.

so is he running with twin bottles?

zland, it is all about the tuning. Cars that are not tuned right pay for it. Running lean for a split second is a killer. IF tuned right, FI in this car should be fine.

Evil and Vandy, what are the mods on these two's cars?? I know Paul has the plenum I think, but did he change any internals?? Would be nice to know if he is doing all of this on stock internals to calm some nerves around here. Who does the tuning on their cars??

The mods on these are...

Paul - Procharger, Crawford Plenum, 35 wet shot, N02 intercooler sprayer (which SHOULD be CO2 )
Mike - Nismo headers, test pipes, stillen exhaust, crawford plenum, 150 wet shot.

Both of these cars are on stock internals.

Mike just dyno'd 380rwhp the other day, and just made a 7.54 pass at his latest visit to the 660ft.

Doug, since I guess you've seen the NISMO headers. What do you think of them? I know you might be a little, yeah just a little , biased, but I just want to know your opinion on it.

Thanks,
Victor

Best set of headers I have seen yet but just not long enough
we need at lest 24 to 28 inches but not much more ,real hard to do in the space we have to work with.
Hopefully will have something by next week that will do the trick
