sup guys, just to give some background I DO NOT drive a 350z i drive 2005 maxima same engine so w.e. You guys have a LOT more information than the maxima forums so i frequent here often. i have all bolt ons and some manifold work done, and tuned with a utec. when i got my car tuned my tranny was about to die and my headers were leaking, but i still managed to get 270 whp. which didnt make too much sense because i put down 262 with a safc2. i got tuned from enzo out in long island incase you east coast heads know him or w.e He has never done a utec before but i heard he was good. (shoulda went to performance motorsports)

Well my problem is going 100+ As soon as i hit 100 it feels like the engine is dying/struggling and barely inches to 110

0-100 is but 100+ = could this be the tuning

i am definitely getting retuned soon rightafter i install my zex kit.

 

you forgot to remove the over 100mph restrictor from the UTEC.

i wish i still had the dyno sheets. i cant even get in contact with enzo anymore... everytime i call the guy i think he picks up and hangs up? maybe he knows he messed up?

 

My car feels the same at 150 MPH. I think its jammed-up with carbon.

 

I thought he did RX7's only? What's his experience with the VQ? Interesting to hear him tuning a VQ...

 

yea he usually works on rx7s and boats? lol he has 0 experience with the vq i went thru him because a friend of mine said he was good and i trusted his word on it.

 

you shouldn't be going over 100 mph anyway..... oh!!! you only do it on a track, well thats alright then

Auto tranny issues? Assuming you are pulling fine throughout your rev range in other gears.....
