If you are changing your trany fluid, 4 quarts will be enough. You won't even use quite 4 quarts.

They're right. Buy 4 quarts, you'll use around 3.5

exactly. buy 4 quarts......3 quarts is just not enough. the service manual say that the tranny takes just over 3 quarts, but when I changed mine, it took about 3.33 quarts before fluid started to run out of the fill hole.

You can change your own tranny out but can't figure out how much fluid it takes this should go well.

When you get the 30k maint. done is transmission fluid change included in that? I called because I thought the transmission fluid needed to be changed at 30k and the nissan dealer told me it was 60k?
