Default Engine putters a bit when stopped at a light. Feels like it's gonna die

Hey all,
Have been searching for the answer to this question, but cant find any posts or havent been using the correct key phrases while searching forum.

I have an 07 350z with 24000miles on it. When I stop at a light my engine sounds like its gonna die. The tachometer reads <0.5rpm and I can see the needle bounce up and down a bit. I can also feel the subtle fluctuations in the RPM. If feels/sounds like the engine is gonna just die out sometime. I don't feel or hear any issues during acceleration. Has anyone else had this kind of issue?

Thanks

Thanks for the input all. It is bone stock "except for my Nismo License plate frame"
This is been happening for the past 2 weeks or so. I don't believe it is bad fuel.
It is still under warrenty. Looks like the best thing to do is take it in.

Thanks again all.

You should see my on-going saga. I'm having the same problem, only I have a plenum spacer and intake. I thought it was the spacer initially, but after time and trial & error, eliminated the spacer as being the problem. My MAF sensor is clean too.
