Default Order online

Christi,

For "legit" order of service manual, dealership service dept will be one option, or you may order online at:

Service Manual (under the "Nissan Publication" catalogs)

Hope this helps.

295 for a printed copy...you can save that money and use it in the body shop that you were originally trying to avoid

there was a post somewhere, the guy had a site for the shop manual where you could download it for free (it was a site like kazaa and he gave ya the search word for it), i tried it and the program didnt work on my pc right but there was a shop manual for a 350z there.

The manual is a collection of PDF (Adobe Acrobat files) so if it didn't work then either 1) you do not have Acrobat Reader or 2) the files were corrupt.

Go to http://www.nissan-techinfo.com/nissa...id=&dept_id=18

Last time I checked you could pick up a one day subscription for $19.99 and download all the PDF's from the FSM into a directory on your hard drive. Much cheaper and completely legit.

Edit - You can download all the TSB's at the same time...

FYI - I just checked and you can still view and download the FSM from the site above using the $19.99 one day subscription. Once you register and pay you then highlight "Inside Publications" on the top bar and choose "Find Publications". When prompted insert the model, choose service manual as the document type and the appropriate model year.

It will bring up the search results in a pop-up window. Click the icon next to the document title that looks like an eyeball and it will pop-up the FSM table of contents. You should save that one, then click on each item in the TOC on the document page (GI, EM, LU, etc.). Save each one to your hard drive as you go and you'll have a complete set when you're done.

Note that you need to have the Adobe Acrobat reader installed on your machine for this to work as these are in pdf format.

Enjoy your legal copy of the FSM...
