Default Valve body upgrade.

Hi guys, I been searching the site and i know a few here have the Valve body upgrade for their a/t tranny's. I was just wondering which has the best results for the right amount of money? I know theres Stillen, AAM, and a few others but i would like to know which is best but enough not to break my wallet either.

Since you are in the Southeast, Forged Performance! PM Sharif@Forged. Stillen and Level 10 are crap. The good shops use TransGo VB kits (Forged, GTM, SFR, etc).

I guess I can add to this thread.

What route is better to go for N/A or F/I 5AT? VB or 3.9 final drive?

If you go F/I, I would recommend VB upgrade to hold the extra torque.

3.9 is too much for f/i cars. seeing as yours is a stock 3.3, swp that out for a 3.5 vlsd which you can find form any 350z 6mt (except base models)

I do believe there are firmware updates available for the early model transmissions. The 04.5 and up cars (with the VB integrated into the trans) have no problem with rev matching / downshifting, etc.
