hello

yesterday I was doing some spirted driving and when I went to shift to 5th The car just dont take the gear..I Mean the shift **** goes to the 5th gear position but the car just goes like into neutral..

My car is a 05 TT 6Sp JWT clutch and 25K..Never changed the Tranny Fluid..

Could this be a trans failure or related to a fluid thing?

Btw alll the other gears works

EDIT: The car goes into 5th gear when stopped and it moves but If I go into 5th running it doesnt work at all

Your tranny's f*cked. Either take it apart and see what's broken or buy a used tranny.

 

Changing the transmission fluid will get fifth gear back? Oh sure.

 

If you are no help for this post just shut the F... up..

That's why I asked here and Im not telling that changing the oil will bring the 5th back
