Default Any chance for a good sub $4000 SC kit?

Im not the richest guy in the world, I had to pay off all my lawyer fees before i bought this car , and thats why i was wondering if you guys think it is likely some time in the near future someone will make a good SC kit for the 350Z for under $4000. Something along the lines of what the ATI's kit has but at a more reasonable price. $5000+ seems to be a premium for a SC kit. What do you guys think is a fair price?

Lowest I've seen is 4300 for ATI.

Dang... where did you see that? Id like to take a look if you can give me a link.

Anyone think once the Greddy TT or PE TT is out, the SC prices will drop? Im hoping so.

I paid less, but either way, that price isn't available anymore. Best you're gonna find is probably gonna be at superchargersonline.com for the procharger kit.

Well, I believe that Vortech could come out a little cheaper, if their kit ever gets out, lol. The procharger is too much for an SC, but that is JMO.

i'm skeptical about getting the porcharger...i know not many people have problems, but i don't wanna be one of the few that do.....especially if theirs a small number of us! I'm gonna wait a lil longer and see what happens, Vortech should be more reliable...i hope

Basic economics ... once there's some competition in the 350Z FI market, you're more than likely to see a sale price or "special"

The first on the block always pays top dollar. I say wait for greddy, PE, and the rumored vortech, and you'll see some better pricing and group buys.

Thats what i was thinking too zxsaint. On top of that, I want to see how well my tranny holds out to make sure its not a bad one. Ive got 10500 miles (90% highway) since i got the car May 1st. All i can complain is that 2nd gear has slow synchros and i rarely but occasionally grind going from 1st to 2nd. I will just have to wait patiently and see what comes to market the next 6 months to a year i guess.
