I launched hard to today redlined 1st and heard a pop so I backed off then it didnt feel like it was shifting the same. it feels softer now . but I let it sit for 20 min and drove hard and it felt fine for about 10 min then the soft feel came back... anyideas
The only type of clutch failure that I know of which would be accompanied by a "pop" sound is the pivot ball snapping.
...I'm not sure that's what happened here but it is easy enough to check. You just have to get under the car and see if you can move the end of the clutch fork with your hand.
