Clutch is an ATS Twin Disk Carbon Clutch (1350kg pressure plate). Thanks to Adam @ Z1 Performance for the clutch...
superb guy and company. You can get info on their
prices/options HERE.
It is a 9" clutch. The carbon disks weigh next to nothing!
The clutch comes with a lightened flywheel with the magnetic pickups.
The thing is so nice, it looks like something you would eat off of
Best thing is I could upgrade to a triple disk, if necessary.
Now on to the pics:
Top view of pressure plate and teeth of the flywheel:
Next pic is the flywheel side:
Last pic is of the 2 carbon disks:
I can take more pics tonight if necessary. It is going to be installed tomorrow. Thanks!

Super sano! That is a trick upgrade.
This does make the Performance Nissan Tilton Flywheel/Clutch upgrade look like a bargain. The discs are cerametallic not carbon, but the whole assembly appears to weigh 9.5 pounds less than the Carbon ATS Twin Disc setup. And $1300 for the whole thing too and it's supposed to be good for 600 rwhp/tq too.

I WISH I had the cash for upgrades like the ultra-trick (sano = very nice) ATS. If you're on a budget like me, you've got to plan for cost-effective mods and from what I've seen on here, the revised Tilton cerametallic setup seems like a good deal.

jng,
You may want to reread the posts in those threads. Jeff clearly states that he is still learning how to get going on inclines. And still stalls it from time to time.
The nice thing about carbon-carbon clutches is that they don't mind slipping all that much, unlike cera-metallic and others. I have actually heard that the triple carbon disk clutches are the easiest to deal with as a daily driver, but are major money.
Michael,
I look forward to your review of the setup. I have been eyeing this for my Evo
Just not sure I want to drop that kind of coin on the clutch/flywheel ![Smilie](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Oops! That's pretty clear now, thanks for the clarification Derek. I guess that won't be my next mod because my wife still drives the car from time to time and we do have some stoplights on hills around here. I can hear the bitching already!
I guess maybe I'll spend them money on Corbeau seats instead. The stock one have absolutely no lumbar support and really kill me. $2K plus for clutch and flywheel is to rich for me!

short review first...
the car drives like it has stock clutch in terms of the smoothness of the engagement. (albeit 50% more pedal pressure is required).
No problems starting on inclines, etc... just can't wait another 130mi until i can open her up!!!
more pics:
here is the clutch installed:
here is the OS giken after 10K miles. it was starting to slip pretty badly on low boost, and would even engage on high boost.
please keep in mind this is a $1350 single disk (cerametallic)clutch.. supposedly good to 450hp:
