Default what in the world.. oil pressure sky-rocketing

so i just finished putting my car back together after blacking out my housings and was taking my buddy home when i noticed that my oil pressure was hitting over 100 at around 27k.. completely confused i turned her around and parked her.

anyone have any ideas on why this might be occuring.. didnt touch anything besides the headlights and front bumper. ohh and i cleaned my intake filter.

please advice, suggestions much appreciated.

Turn the key to the on position but don't start the car. If the needle spikes all the way up, you need a new oil pressure sending sensor.

You may have tooooo much oil in the car also. Have you done a oil change lately?

The only way to verify is to remove the sensor, and connect a pressure gage.
