Light Flywheel without Chatter??
If you are talking about the cement mixer noises under load, at 1500rpm to 2500rpm, the lightweight flywheel is the culprit. Stick to the stock flywheel, and just upgrade the clutch, if that is your concern.
That's exactly how I'm going to deal with the problem.
I heard that it's best to change the flywheel AND the clutch when upgrading.
An aftermarket clutch will make my clutch pedal stiffer. I doubt I'll see much track time but I do plan on building a 250+ WHP VQDE via bolt-ons.
Is it stupid to upgrade my flywheel but keep the stock clutch? Will the stock clutch hold the increased torque I'll get from my bolt-ons?

Now I have a problem with deciding how light to go with a flywheel. I wanted NISMO but according to Z-tech (http://www.*********.com/zwiki/Part:Flywheels) it's only 1 LBS lighter than stock. Big waste of money there.
I'm probably go with the Stillen. However, I heard that lighter flywheels are annoying on dailys. I haven't had much luck with 'search' so can someone link me information on flywheels?
Lightened flywheel is usually single mass. Light flywheel without chatter is non existant. Stock one is dual mass and it still makes little noise although it is very faint. If you're looking for non chattering flywheel, lightened one isn't for you. You get more noise, you get free er rev. Live with it I guess.
