grinding, clankity noise when shut off car

Default grinding, clankity noise when shut off car

any ideas what might this be?

Is the car new to you?.... If so, It's covered in the 100 common asked questions......the Z clutch is noisy............

Try this........the next time you turn off the car, push the clutch pedal all the way in/down (clutch disengaged) and THEN turn off the car with clutch pedal pushed all the way down and see if the noise you hear is gone or diminished some....

thats more a clunky noise.........now grinding?? that doesnt sound right but try that and get back to us?

when the clutch is pressed in it doesnt make the noise. thanks alot!

Stop in the drivethru or next to a wall wall with the car on. You'll here lots of clankety whirring going on.
