Default Those with UR pulleys

Those of you guys that have UR pulleys. Any problems? How many miles do you have on the pulleys? I'm debating getting them but still a bit hesitant. Looking for long terms updates/feedback. Thanks.

3K and going strong. Not even a hiccup. I also have a 400 watt amp in my car and I notice no power drop or anything. Then again, I am not playing that loud and I am certainly not using anywhere near 400 watts. With my current setup, I would peak at 160 I think.

At any rate, great mod, no problems, and an easy install (with an 18" breaker bar).

u won't see big concrete gains, on a dyno anyway. it's kinda like a lightened flywheel. just lightens the amount of weight the crank has to turn. more noticeable in lower gears. should increase your trap a couple mph's and lower your e.t. a tenth or 2. not a major deal, but it only cost me about 225 bucks total for the pulley and belts; installed it myself with the help of a friend.

I was thinking about getting the entire pulley kit, even if I dont see many significant gains....I think the engine would look better

BIG SHOW: Wouldn't the stock belts work if you're only replacing the crank pulley? What do I need to get then? Thanks.

the pulley is smaller, so u'll need smaller belts. the instructions have the belt sizes needed, and u can do a search in the forum for the specs.

courtesy nissan has them listed on there site. tells the part # and everything. you can get them from there or buy them at the local parts store.

HEY EVERYBODY - slight hijack of thread. I have a vendor willing to do a (cough) group (cough) buy (cough) on the ur pullies. The crank goes for $200 DELIVERED and the set goes for $300 DELIVERED. Any color you want and you will buy directly from the vendor and you all DEFINITELY know him! If interested PM me for details. I have 6-7 already and we need 3-4 more for the pricing. UR does not allow (cough) (cough) pricing so that is NOT what I am doing here, get it!

If this gets back to UR Pullies I will disavow (is that a word?) having any knowledge of this (cough) (cough)!

we need 3-4 more.....

Had the crank pulley for a week.

Noticably quicker revs ... rev matching for downshifts seems so much easier. 1st gear doesn't seem to lurch as bad if you step off the gas (the wind-down is smoother)

No downsides I can think of .. install was simple once you get break the bolt loose.. although installation for the whole set could be a pain.
