Sad to see something like this happen to a perfectly good Z...i especially wouldn't be laughing about it afterwards.

OMG!
The pieces of the motor strewn about the engine bay are the best part. Saw that mentioned somewhere else. They said it was the "Smithtown Nissan" car. Dealer owned, so don't feel too bad. They wouldn't have done that if they couldn't afford it IMO.
And don't be afraid to DL it. Only took me 3 min 49 sec. And that was actually only using about 1/6 of my 3Mb/s pipe. Good vid. Thx.

I believe smithtown nissan's point was to push on to see how much the Z could take. If this had been a successful run, i'd bet they'd go for a 400+ shot.
They kept bumping up the shots on stock internals until it blew... it was all in good fun and education. They're already building another one with what they learned. 375 shot is what finally did it, and thats pretty damn impressive for a stock motor.
What's funny to me is that this video will probably be all over various forums coated with rumor and BS.
"Dude, what a weak engine, I heard the guy installed an intake and it blew up on his first run!"
