Default New exhaust causing hesitation problems

I have JWT intake and aftermarket headers. Had them for 2 years now.

Last week i put on an HKS hi power and the next day i felt a minor hesitation while driving, almost as if one of the cylinders didnt fire.

Day after that car just died while idling.

Next day i felt a large hesitation, and CEL, Slip, and VDC off lights all came on.

After parking and starting it later, CEL was still on, all others were off, but same thing hapened with the hesitation and all lights coming on again.

Anybody have this happen?
Thanks
Ken

Scan the car, find out why the light is on. I see crazy coincidences all the time.

Last week a lady with a civic ran out of gas, then an hr later the car died because her distributor took a poop.

You're not necessarily the culprit.

thanks for the quick reply guys,
Im out of town and stuck in a hotel room so i figured i would post this.
Ill check the code as soon as i get back home.
It doesnt sound like it has an exhaust leak, but we will see i guess.

With the mods i have done, does a reflash have to be done to get the car running right?
I know it helps to get the gains from them, but would it still run without a reflash

Thanks
Ken

it will still run fine without a tune, but it would be best to have it tuned.

I disagree. Pull the code first! Then, depending on the code, reset it.

You are right about that, Pull code first, FULL ECU Reset then go on from there. Usually FULL ecu resets fixes the hesitation/stalling issues when installing intakes, spacers, and exhausts.
