any quality oil cooler will work. You want one that has AN or NPT style fittings and you'll want to use Aeroquip aircraft hose.
I'm going to put one in mine before next summer. I plan on using an aviation oil cooler. MUCH cheaper than Nismo unit at the quality is better too.
What I haven't figured out yet is where to tap into the oil system. There must be a plug in the engine now that is removed when you install the oil cooler.

I just got an oil cooler from an old starion and cleaned it up a bit and shot it with black paint... I am going to get under it tonight and see if I can find anywhere to tap into it.

Sandwich adapter..thread size m20-1.5.
I was checking out mounting options today..pretty tight up front, especially with Injen CAI. Maybe above PS cooler, Or a dual cooler for both?

Kids.....have fun with your oil coolers!
From what temps are you cooling? To what temp? How are you measuring the temps? What temp does YOUR oil like? Etc.....
Sorry, but throwing money/parts at a probable nonexistent problem seems..........silly.
BTW....I LOVE purty SS braded lines with shinny red & blue fittings!
Been there. Done that. An oil thermostat that froze open.....oil NEVER reached operating temp. A stone "took out" my cooler....how do you spell NO OIL PRESSURE?
Please keep me posted as to your findings.

well I can tell you that out here in Arizona where road temps can exceed 150 degrees, an oil cooler for the Z is a good thing.
It's also VERY wise to run a bypass valve in case the cooler becomes clogged.
I plan on doing mine right using all aircraft parts. I have a nice setup on my plane that I will essentially duplicate on my Z.
I'm going to use an FAA certified oil cooler with AN fittings and Aeroquip hose AND a bypass valve..... even with all the aircraft parts the cost will be about half of the Nismo unit.
