Alright so I start my car and there is this sound like a low-muffled blender is on, but when I push in the clutch or if the car is in gear, the sound stops...

Also, occasionally, I feel like a crunching when the car is cold and I go into 5th, sometimes 3rd...

Any ideas?

 

If you are talking about the transmission chatter, then yes it is normal.

The grinding im not too sure. Maybe synchro problems?
