Smile Full Synthetic Oil for 2006 350Z

hi members
i have questions about oil changing for 2006 350Z
after i bought my car for used, i did oil changing at the local Nissan Dealership. They recommended me 'Valvoline SynPower Full Synthetic 5W-30'

1. How many miles usually require to change for 'Valvoline SynPower
Full Synthetic 5W-30' ?
I changed engine oil at 20,789 miles and the sticker on the windshield
says that next oil change is at 24,530 miles. I have 24,630 miles on my
odometer and its already passed over 100 miles . Its like 3,800 miles i
drove after last oil change. I heard some people said that you can
change Full Synthetic Engine Oil between every 4,000-6,000 miles.
So should I change oil at this time or later?

2. I searched good engine oil for 350Z, i saw Amsoil, Mobile1, Royal Purple
and so on. Does
'Valvoline SynPower Full Synthetic 5W-30' is good enough for my VQ35 ?

3. Is that possible that you buy some different brands such as Amsoil, Mobile1 , or Royal Purple from anywhere and you bring it to any local Nissan
Dealership to change it for you instead of what they have.

Please answer my questions

Peace~

I use Mobile1 full synthetic 5w-30 sooner is always better. I prefer changing oil every 3 thousands and yes you can bring your own oil to the dealerships just let them know.

mobil 1 is a good oil not the best but it isent to bad on price and it gets hte job done. and why cant you do it yourself. you would save a good amount of money if you add up a couple oil changes. and you know the job was done right because you did it.

I use Mobil1 5W 30 on my '06 and would consider it a good grade oil that is much better than conventional oils. I've ran Amsoil in my RX-7 but considered it a bit excessive in price. I've heard many good things in regards to the German version of Castrol Syntec but it's hard to find.

Conventional oils are constantly wearing down from the moment your oil has been changed. Were as synthetic oils maintain their viscosity over a longer period of time but then hit a sudden drop off at the end of their lifespan. I would suggest changing your oil every 5000-6000 KM or 3000-4000 Miles with Mobil1. I remember running Amsoil for about 7,500 Miles but be sure to change your oil filter at the 3000 mile interval.

Lastly, you can bring your own oil to the dealership but be careful. My brother in law is a mechanic for Volvo and he tells me stories about customers who bring in their own synthetic oil but the mechanics use the bulk oil and keep the customers synthetic for themselves... dem dirty bastards.

I have been using Castrol Syntec 5w30 since my first oil change. I also send out a sample to blackstone each time. I am nothing but pleased each time I get the results. I run the oil for 4000 miles. Plenty additives left in the oil.
